Welcome to DSC Dallas. By using our receiving, storage, and delivery services, you (the "Client" or "You") agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms govern all interactions between Delivery Service Central Dallas ("we," "us," or "our") and the Client, specifically focusing on services provided to interior designers, architects, galleries, and related professionals (collectively "Design Professionals"). Please read these terms carefully before engaging our services.

 

DSC Dallas is committed to providing premium, personalized services to ensure your design projects go off without a hitch. Whether you're handling single-room renovations or large-scale relocations, we are here to handle the logistics, giving you peace of mind to focus on what you do best.

 

Services Provided

 

We offer a wide range of services tailored to the needs of interior designers, architects, art dealers, and other professionals in the design industry. Our services include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

Art Installation

 

We specialize in hanging artwork, whether a single piece or a full truckload. Our experienced crews can handle installations for galleries, wholesale art dealers, and design professionals, ensuring that each piece is carefully placed with precision and care.

 

Deliveries (Local and Long Distance)

 

We provide both local and long-distance deliveries with white glove service. This includes careful handling, protection, and delivery of furniture or artwork. If you coordinate multiple deliveries, you may also add your delivery to others in progress to save on costs.

 

Shipment Receiving and Inspection

 

If you need someone to receive your shipments, we're here to help. We are located in a business/warehouse area with daily semi-truck deliveries. With a dock and ramp for easy access, we accept large and small shipments. Our team inspects each shipment for damages or discrepancies, ensuring everything arrives as it should.

 

We can arrange additional storage for your items at reasonable rates if needed. We send detailed reports of the condition of your items with photographs, giving you peace of mind from the moment your shipment arrives.

 

Storage Solutions

 

We offer short-term and long-term storage solutions, including specialized storage for items that are being moved but need to be stored temporarily due to timing issues.

Client Responsibilities

 

As a Client, you agree to the following:

 

  1. Accurate Information: You must provide correct shipping information, including delivery addresses, item dimensions, and any special handling instructions. This ensures that deliveries are accurate and timely.

 

  1. Inspection of Goods: Upon receipt of your items, you are responsible for inspecting them for any damages, defects, or discrepancies. After this period, DSC Dallas is not liable for any missing or damaged goods.

 

  1. Timely Payments: All fees, including storage, delivery, packing, and other services, must be paid in full and on time. Late payments may incur additional charges.

 

  1. Scheduling Deliveries: Notify us in advance of any specific scheduling requirements for your deliveries or installations to avoid delays.

 

Service Fees

 

  1. Our fees depend on the specific services provided and the scope of your project. Below is a summary of typical charges:

 

  1. Receiving and Inspection Fees: Fees for receiving shipments and inspecting for damage or discrepancies.

 

  1. Delivery Fees: Fees for local and long-distance deliveries, including White Glove Service and the option to add your delivery to other scheduled deliveries for cost savings.

  2. Packing and Crating Fees: Professional packing services costs are based on the materials and labor required. A free in-home estimate will be provided for each project.

 

  1. Storage Fees: Short-term and long-term storage fees will apply. These are based on the items' size and the storage period's duration.

 

  1. Specialty Services Fees: Fees for art installations, moves, relocations, freight claims, and other specialized services.

 

  1. We will provide you with a detailed estimate before the commencement of any work. All fees are subject to change, and payment is due when invoicing.

 

Liability and Insurance

 

  1. Damage During Storage or Delivery: We take great care in handling and storing your items. However, Delivery Service Central Dallas is not liable for any damage or loss unless caused by our negligence or intentional misconduct.

 

  1. Force Majeure: We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform services due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, labor strikes, transportation disruptions, or government actions.

 

Scheduling and Delays

 

  1. Delivery Scheduling: We work with you to schedule convenient delivery dates and times. Specific time windows for delivery are available upon request, but they cannot be guaranteed unless explicitly agreed upon.

 

  1. Delays: In the event of a delay due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide an updated delivery timeline.

Privacy and Confidentiality

We respect the privacy of your designs, plans, and personal information. All data shared with DSC Dallas will be used solely to provide our services. We will not share or disclose your information to any third party without your consent except as required by law.

 

Termination of Services

Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice. All outstanding fees must be paid upon termination, and any items stored with Delivery Service Central Dallas must be retrieved during invoicing. Failure to retrieve items within this time frame will incur additional storage fees.

 

Amendments to Terms and Conditions

 

DSC Dallas reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at anytime. Any changes will be posted on our website and become effective immediately. By continuing to use our services after any changes, you agree to the revised Terms and Conditions.

 

Governing Law

 

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed under the laws of Texas without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
